Overview

The Senior Food Service and Dispensed Beverage Manager is responsible for the development, execution, and evaluation of the Break Time Food Service programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a food service program that involves commissary, prepared food, and dispensed beverage programs.  
  • Execute program development and implementation at all levels, from conceptualization to completion.
  • Monitor financial results of sales and gross profit contribution through quality marketing strategy and effective execution of strategy using available reporting capabilities of PDI and other sources.
  • Develop, research, and present new products for approval for all food service and dispensed beverage categories.
  • Develop and implement a training program for food service management and store management personnel.
  • Negotiate and maintain all vendor contracts as it pertains to program requirements and rebate monies. Submit timely sales data as necessary and track rebate payments.
  • Manage all aspects of the supply chain as it pertains to food & beverage programs to ensure consistent product availability.
  • Develop & manage Limited Time Offers (LTO’s) for all food and beverage programs. Present promotional calendars and track success of promotions/LTO items.
  • Manage communications and coordination with vendors.
  • Coordinate & track food safety certifications and regulatory inspections.
  • Establish individual and team goals for each department, as well as establish personal goals with senior leader. Ensure goals are attainable and trackable.
  • Manage assigned employees including hiring, evaluating performance, making wage adjustments, and taking disciplinary action as appropriate.
  • Plan and direct the work of assigned employees, including providing clear direction; training, developing and motivating employees; enforcing company policies and safety requirements; monitoring productivity; and resolving conflict in a timely manner.
  • Ensure employees follow posted work schedules and adhere to proper clocking procedures to accurately reflect hours worked.
  • Prepare fixed asset projections for the budget process.
  • All MFA Oil employees are expected to know and adhere to company and position specific policies and procedures.  While this job description contains the primary duties of the position, employees may be expected to perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in hospitality or a food related field; graduation from culinary school; or an Associate’s degree with three years of applicable experience.
  • At least three years required experience in either commissary related or menu development fields.
  • Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations regarding food service.
  • Computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to train others and lead regional group meetings.
  • Ability to motivate employees under direct supervision, evaluate performance and assist in personal and professional development.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, growing organization and rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities and goals, and develop plans for achieving them, as well as work in a team environment.
  • Stellar customer service skills.
  • Frequent travel to Break Time locations throughout the state. May require occasional overnight stays.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Must meet Company requirements, including successful background and MVR check, and drug test.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language to communicate with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
